Job Title: Residential Real Esate Associate

Job Description:

Major Goals and responsibilities:
List and sell real estate. Maintain company image of professionalism and service. Organize and develop an assigned prospecting and marketing area. maximize sales and listing volume by providing outstanding and continual service to clients, customers and prospects. Develop new business while representing the company with integrity, dedication, service and a career commitment to professional selling in real estate.

Products and Services:
Developed and undeveloped residential property. The focus of service is on assisting past, present and future buyers and sellers in fulfilling unmet needs.

Essential Activities:
The residential associate spends 60-80% of their time prospecting for buyers and sellers, making listing presentations and showing property. The remainder of the time is used for preparing for these activities. They keep accurate records, maintain extensive product knowledge, stay in close contact with support staff and outside experts, and report routinely to the sale manager while working independently and cooperatively with others.

People managed:
Primarily themselves, prospects, customers and clients.

This includes everyone who now has or may soon need a professional Real Estate expert.

They must be ambitious, enthusiastic, positive, a self-starter, dedicated, a good communicator, teachable, responsible; with high self-esteem and self-worth. They must be action and goal oriented, organized, persistent, people oriented, flexible, and a good listener. They must follow directions well, want to help others, and be kind, courteous and sensitive to the needs of others. They are proactive people. They must have high ego-drive and empathy,
a competitive spirit, and be able to make decisions independently. They are good problem solvers, innovative and creative. Consistent follow-through is essential and they must have a high tolerance for pressure.

Prerequisites (Education and experienced):
Some formal education with good verbal skills. Aptitude for outside sales. Analytical, having a good understanding of basic math. Good listening skills are a must.

Greatest Challenge of the Job:
Getting out of the office and spending 80% of their time meeting people and talking to them about buying and selling real estate consistently 5 1/2 days a week, 8 hours a day.
